"Good with details, but not flawless"
I tried Crisp on a few old photos, it handled the little details better than I expected. Things like hair and some background lines stayed clear, which was nice. That said, it wasn’t perfect on every photo — one came out looking a little overly sharpened and unnatural. Still, it was simple to use and the results were mostly solid. I’d give it 4 stars.

The order processing, it was really slow. I kept checking for updates, but for days there was basically nothing happening. Not the best experience for me, I have to say.

"billing was simple and clear"
billing was easy for me, and i didn’t run into any weird charges or confusing stuff on the invoice.
i got the receipt right away, and everything matched what i expected. nothing fancy, it just worked fine and i didn’t have to chase anyone

"Support replied fast"
I had a quick question and support got back to me faster than I expected. i usually judge a service by how painless the help process is, and this was an easy win. No hassle, just a quick answer and I was good to go.

"I tried the face restore feature, but the..."
I tried the face restore feature, but the results looked kind of off to me. The faces came out weird and blurry, with that no-real-person-there feeling instead of looking natural.

"Kept cutting out"
The service just wasn’t reliable for me. It kept dropping right when I needed it most, and support took forever to get back to me. It got frustrating quickly, especially because it felt like something avoidable.

"Straightforward pricing, just how it should be"
The prices were easy to see and actually made sense. I knew what I was paying before I placed my order, and there weren’t any random fees popping up at checkout. that’s the kind of simple, common-sense experience I appreciate

"Clean layout, easy to figure out"
I liked how straightforward the site was. I usually notice quickly when a layout is going to make me hunt around, but this one had a clear pattern to it and everything was where I expected it to be. Found what I needed fast without a bunch of extra clicking. Nice and simple.

"Works on mobile, but could be smoother"
I used crispthat.com on my phone and it got the job done, but the experience could definitely be better. A few pages loaded slower than I expected, and the navigation felt a little clunky at times. I also had to zoom in once or twice, which felt avoidable. I was able to do what I needed in the end, but it’s not the smoothest mobile experience.

"Getting a refund was such a hassle"
I asked for a refund and it turned into a headache. The replies were super slow, and every time I thought I was getting somewhere, I’d get transferred to someone else and have to explain everything all over again. It felt like I had to keep chasing them just to get my own money back. Really frustrating experience, and I wouldn’t order from them again

"Fine for basic background fixes"
I used it to clean up the background on a few photos, and it was decent overall, just not anything amazing. Simple shots came out okay, but on the more detailed ones the edges looked a little off in places. I weirdly remember one photo where it made the corner of a chair look kind of melted, which made me laugh but also wasn’t super useful. Support did get back to me, but it took longer than I expected. I’d use it for quick, simple edits, but probably not for anything too detailed.

"Batch uploads are fine, I guess"
I’ve used the batch upload a few times and it mostly does what I need. Sometimes it takes a while, which is kind of annoying, but since it eventually works I can’t really complain too much. It’s okay, just not something I’d call great.

"I just had to upload my files, it..."
I just had to upload my files, it was smooth. Everything went through fast, and there weren’t any weird extra steps or confusing buttons to figure out. It worked on the first try, so yeah, I’m happy with it.

"The order itself was fine, so I..."
The order itself was fine, so I can’t really complain too much, but the colors came out a bit duller than they looked on my screen. It’s not awful and I’ll still use it, just not quite what I was hoping for.

"I kind of assumed contacting support would..."
I kind of assumed contacting support would be the quickest way to get things sorted, but that shortcut didn’t really work out. Replies were slow, and when they did get back to me, it didn’t help much. I ended up feeling like I could’ve saved time trying to figure it out myself

"Handles pretty much all the file types I need"
I’ve been using crispthat.com mainly because it lets me upload most of the file types I deal with without having to mess around converting them first. There’s just something about it that makes the whole thing feel a bit easier.

PDFs, PNGs, and a few weird JPG files all worked fine for me. I also tested a couple of document files, and those uploaded without any trouble, which was handy.

I’m giving it 4 stars because I did run into one file format it didn’t support, and the error message could’ve been clearer. Still, for what I need most of the time, it’s been solid.

"The security side of things seems solid..."
The security side of things seems solid, so I'm not really worried there. But the privacy settings? I kept thinking, wait, did I actually turn that off or is it still on somewhere? It’s not terrible, just a little confusing and not as straightforward as I’d like.

"A Bit of a Letdown, Honestly"
I was hoping for something way better, but the whole experience was kind of a slow-motion disappointment. The delivery took forever, and when it finally arrived, the quality just wasn’t really worth the wait. Not the worst thing ever, but definitely not something I’d be excited to order again.

"Didn’t really fix the blur"
I tried this hoping it would sharpen up my photo, but it still looked blurry after. At first I thought maybe I used it wrong, but nope, same result. kind of disappointing, actually, scratch that, I was annoyed because I really needed that picture to look better.

"I’ve used crispthat.com a few times now..."
I’ve used crispthat.com a few times now, and the download quality was better than I expected. The files came out clear and didn’t get all weird or blurry, which was nice. One download took a little longer than the others, which was kind of ridiculous, but overall it worked fine for me
